Stopped in here for a drink after a hike with the "meet up" group. Staff were friendly and the drink choices great. Some of the group had chips and raved about them. The food did look good and the smells from the kitchen were lovely. I'll definitely come back for lunch as the whole place was really pretty. You can eat inside, which is table service and outside, where are given a buzzer to let you know when your food is ready to collect (although one of the staff popped the chips out to us on this occasion ). Will return very soon.

Had a Sunday dinner there with 3 very young kids today and cannot speak highly enough of our experience. Really lovely and attentive staff, the food was excellent and the chef was friendly. Georgia's pub inside and extensive outside area, front and back. 100% recommend. This wasn't our first time there and it won't be outlr last. Thanks to the team.

First time visit after walking our dog. Delighted with the pub, the home cooked food and the service. The roast dinner was cooked to perfection as we're our pasta dishes. Really lovely quaint pub that is well worth a visit. Parking is across the street from the pub and is free and also It is dog friendly but only in the bar and outside. The views from the beer garden out the back are stunning too. Good experience all round and I am sure we will return.

I am not from the UK but lived here for many years. I didn't quite understand why everyone is always looking forward to Sunday roast because the roast that i had for the past 16 years has been dry and vegetables overcooked. It has not been a good experience. I went to The Bell yesterday and completely changed my view on Sunday Roast. Best roast I had so far and everything cooked to perfection. Thank you for the great experience

I recently had the pleasure of enjoying their amazing beef roast, and it was a culinary delight from start to finish. The beef was cooked to absolute perfection—tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. Paired with all the traditional trimmings—crispy roast potatoes, a medley of seasonal vegetables, and a Yorkshire pudding that was delightfully fluffy—it was the epitome of a classic roast done right. The rich, velvety gravy tied everything together beautifully, making every bite a taste of comfort and indulgence. The warm and welcoming atmosphere of The Bell only added to the experience. The staff were attentive and friendly, making me feel right at home. It's clear that a lot of love and care goes into both the food and the service.
